About Bulahdelah Soccer Club
Bulahdelah Soccer Club caters for everyone, from young kids right through to adults. Our Club offers friendly, in-town, mixed competitions for children up to 12 years old and from 13 years old we enter teams into the Football Mid North Coast – Southern Division.
The Southern Division includes teams from Lansdowne, Moorland, Taree, Cundletown, Old Bar, Hallidays Point, Wingham, Tinonee, Forster/Tuncurry, Green Point, Nabiac and Pacific Palms. Every year we have a Senior Mens team, Senior Ladies team and an Over 35’s Mens team for the more senior players.
Our proud soccer club has been going for 23 years now and every year it continues to grow.
The Town Comp has been running since the Club started in 1989. In our 24th season, we need your help.Think about how you can help, not about why you can't. Season start dates for 2012 are on the appropriate pages. Soccer Registration is just around the corner. Saturday 18th Feb will be at the fields, 9am-12pm. AGM - as nobody turned up in November, we will be holding another AGM on the 5th of March. Last year we had 180 registered players & 4 people on the committee. Information on positions will be available at rego days. Some positions only require 1hr/week. Some take more. Some require you to be at the fields on a Saturday & some don't. For example, equipment officer is busy at season's start but negligible after that. Line-marking takes 90 minutes. It is weekly early on but only every 3 weeks in winter. Town Comp co-ordinators need to be there Saturday mornings. Record-keepers can operate from home during the week. Publicity officer; team coach or manager; secretary; registrar; bbq chef; kiosk assistants; referees; mini organisers; etc. Women's Premier League - last year Football Mid North Coast (our zone) were accepted into the NNSWF Women's Premier League. This is the pathway to the elite level of football for women & a stepping stone to the Jets. This year, we have 2 local girls in this team Referees - We have lost 2 refs from our team last year so we will need refs this year for our Town comp as well as travelling teams. It's a good opportunity to help out the club & you can make some handy spending money as well. Training in Forster / Tuncurry on 19th of February with exam on 18th of March or in Taree on 26th of February with exam on 25th of March. Contact Dave Sibbert or Lockey for more details. Next MeetingThe next Club meeting will be the 5th of March, from 6.30pm at the Bulahdelah Bowling Club. This is our AGM as nobody turned up in November, Anybody involved or looking to be involved in the Soccer Club is welcome and encouraged to attend.
